We focus on the use of green manures, e.g., sorghum and hairy vetch,
to decrease damage to cabbages caused by clubroot disease.

Effect of green manures on soil fertility, and chemical, physical, and biological
properties will be also identified. The results of this study can contribute
to developing useful methods for protecting cabbages from clubroot
disease without the high amount of agrochemicals. In addition, we focus
on other study themes as well (please see below). All studies in our lab
have the same target, which is to identify the solutions for providing
safer agricultural products sustainably.
